While on a brief trip to Havana, Cuba, I had just a quick evening to visit the famous Malecon boardwalk. As I approached the Malecon by bicycle, I kept encountering flooded street after flooded street and quickly realized that the wind was blowing the gulf up and over the sea walls. As the light faded, I came across this street of old, weathered buildings and, while balancing on the bike to hold steady, was able to capture this moment. I like my images to speak for themselves, but as the seas rise, it is hard not to imagine what the future holds.
