the work "le petit noir" is about turkish/arabian women living between two cultures - muslim and german. i focus on the traditional kind of the veil and burqa/chador becoming an abstraction during the serie. i understand fashion as mirror of identity and answer of our social environment. it is like protection from ecological influences and social conflicts as well as these aspects inspire fashion and design in a highly creative and efficient manner. an interpretation and research of living between two cultures and finding your own identity.
