I am enamored by the infinite possibilities of shape. I am naturally attracted, then, to the modern architecture of today’s metropolises. The intent of my work is to explore the limits of form with minimal manipulation; these photographs each consist of one building section that has been duplicated with symmetrical rotations. The results are architectural pieces that borderline on optical illusion- forming wildly intricate, interesting, and sometimes impossible figures. The beauty of this process was witnessing these modern works become grandiose glimpses of the future though their own form… all it took was a bit of reflection.
