Tenggerese are a small enclave of Hindu people living in a bunch of traditional villages around the edges of Bromo crater, East Java, Indonesia. Nowadays, young and old people work all day long in the field or as vendor and horse renters for tourist. In this candid, unnoticed shot a couple of child of this ethnic group are depicted during their spare time in a shabby pool hall. Like in a billiard game the child on the left is contemplating the one on the right who, unnoticed, is evaluating his options.
