I have been photographing the ocean for the past 10 years from exactly the same view point. “oceanscapes – one view – ten years” supports my investigation into the relationship between Romanticism, Memory and Landscape in relationship to our current socio-political awareness. Water is the most important element on our earth and it is our duty to save it from ongoing destruction. However, our knowledge of the ocean is very limited, which is mirrored in our behavior toward it. Recent history has led us to believe that we have no power against the destruction of our ideals and nature.
