My work deals with (architectural) memory through a conceptual photographic process. Drawn from my interest in non-linear perception, my artistic approach is based on the deconstruction/reconstruction of historical baseball stadiums in the New York area. What the viewer sees is an experimental, "extended" documentation of the destruction of Giants Stadium and Yankee Stadium. Archived photographic information of each iconic site, ranging from days to months, is compressed into a single image, capturing various stages of deconstruction. The result is supposed to mirror my inner image of what i experienced over a period of time (MEMORY).
