Amidst all the heavy topics and terrible things that happen in the world, there was something light: a massive pillow fight! These pictures were taken in Budapest. Still trying to get feathers out of my lens hood and clothing.
Working under available light, Wesselink focuses on what moves people in their social environments and tries to understand and see their true characters. When all his photography equipment was stolen in a recent burglary, he started using different types of photographic equipment like pinholes, second hand camera’s found in pawn shops across the region, and really cheap ‘fun lenses’. He was born in the Netherlands (around 36 years ago) and is currently living and working in Eastern Europe with his partner and their 20 months old son.
