Skyism is a movement in photography, in which the composition consists entirely of the sky. The composition cannot feature ground elements, flying objects, or other non sky regularities. The subject matter is limited to the atmosphere of the sky, clouds, weather elements, the sun, and planets. The purpose of skyism is to express the importance of the sky without distractions that take away from its naturalistic beauty. Skyism was founded by Brandon Jenness in 2009.
