An Israeli airstrike early Sunday killed two people in the Gaza Strip, including a 12-year-old boy, as border violence flared for a third day. Medical spokesman in Gaza Adham Abu Salmiya named the child as Ayoub Useila. His seven-year-old cousin was injured in the airstrike and taken to Kamal Udwan hospital in Jabalia. Ahmad Deib Salim, 24, was named as the other victim. It is believed he was a militant. The Israeli army said that it had targeted a terrorist squad preparing to fire rockets from northern Gaza.
