Mr. Jun Touyama managed a small factory in the Tohoku area of Japan. His factory maintained the fishing boats at operating condition. On March 11, 2011, a big tsunami destroyed his factory. All most all of equipments were swept away to the cove. A few months after the tsunami, Touyama decided to rebuild his factory because many fishermen asked him to fix their fishing boats damaged by tsunami. But he did not have enough money to get new equipments and fix his factory. So he retrieved his equipments from the cove and the shallow water. He is fixing a lot of his equipments by disassembling and cleaning every part of them with special oil. He gets a small warehouse as a temporary factory. This small warehouse was inundated by tsunami but it survived. The main industries of the Tohoku area of Japan are fishing industry so it is important for regional economy to maintain the fishing boats at operating condition. This small factory which Mr. Toyama manages plays an important role for revival of regional economy. A ferocious tsunami, triggered by powerful earthquake (magnitude9.0) off the coast of eastern Japan, on March 11, 2011, left nearly 16,000 dead and 3,600 missing, and about 350,000 houses destroyed.
