This series of auto-portraits tells a story about anxiety - an emotional state that, when pushed to the extreme, makes one incapable of moving, and thus makes progress impossible. I focused on situation in which being afraid of the unknown forces one to look back and recall past experiences. I tried to depict a moment of stagnation and indecision. The interior also plays an important role in this project. As I photographed myself in my mother's house, I realized that my attitude towards it is extremely ambiguous. A temporary shelter may became a cage.
