A traveling carnival requires people willing to embrace a nomadic lifestyle and tolerate rough living conditions. These individuals come from all over and coexist in a confined space. The workers live hidden amongst the carnival grounds; thereby removed from mainstream society, yet everyday they provide entertainment for thousands. The photographs show the modern-day carnival workers: 1. Attending to a game 2. Sleeping within a tractor trailer 3. Relaxing with free time, a worker traverses an open field with an air mattress 4. Interacting amongst family members 5. Awaiting a ride to the next location as the Ferris Wheel is dismantled
