I went to Europe from Japan as a traveler. What strikes me is the longer lasting stone-paved roads in Europe. Footworn stone implied me the existence of countless people who walked on the road over the past years. I was impressed to leave my footprint on the road and become part of them even if it was such a light footprint. I felt that the passers-by were not just strangers anymore but fellow-travelers during the same period.
I was born in 1980 and studied photograpy at Nippon Photography Institute (NPI) in Tokyo.
