The Gaza strip has been plagued by conflict for decades and in recent times has seen fierce fighting between the ruling Hamas and the Israeli military. Gaza's ongoing troubles, combined with an economic blockade has led to environmental and social issues that make life barely liveable. The images in this story document these issues and the lives of the Palestinians living with these problems. Shot in the aftermath of the November 2012 violent escalation between Hamas and the Israeli military, the work focuses on the daily life of Palestinians in Gaza.
