Shot #7 is part of a series of photographs titled, "Shots Heard Around The World". The set pushes the issue of gun violence into the audience's face. This is an issue that is often looked at, then ignored for something else. The set pushes the audience to not forget it, but to fix it instead.
I am a fine art photographer who uses a Holga camera to make social commentaries. My work is based on what I see in the world and what I have grown up around. My inspiration for this process and style is mostly Diane Arbus, but includes street artist like Shephard Fairey and other artists like William Hogarth. I recently graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography.
