Entry Description

Photos depicts life in a refugee camp on the border between Tunisia and Libya. Tens of thousands of people, most African and Asian workers have fled to escape the war in Libya. Most of them fled with a single bag where they squeezed the most valuable things. Despite harsh conditions, the refugees were happy because they were alive. The place was packed with sad stories: parents who hoped to find lost children, teens looking for brothers, desperate people mourning their dead relatives left behind in Libya.
