My passion for photography stems from my curiosity about the world that I inhabit. My photography is a means of self-expression. It exhibits the hidden qualities of my personality, to a have a better understanding of my reality, and express my interpretation of the world around me.
My name is Sara Watson .I am a photography major student at the Art Academy University in San Francisco, Ca. I was born and raised in Modesto,Ca. My love and passion for photography runs in my blood. I come from a family of photographers. My grandfather Jack Broome ,after serving in World War Two opened a family owned camera store called The Camera Center, and is still serving the Central Valley and Modesto,Ca since 1946. I enjoy exploring all genres of photography; everything from landscape,portrait,self-portrait,street,photojournalism,fine art, still life, and conceptual photography. What matters most to me and my photography is that the viewer is able to connect to my photographs by their own views and experiences. I allow the images to speak for themselves. My current on going project a conceptual photo essay on Man vs Nature , because I think it is ironic at the beginning nature was taken over by man and structures were built over it , but ultimately in the end anything that is man made is eventually taken over by nature again , no matter what.
