A series of photographs taken in the Baptist church in Haiti. It was beautiful watching the emotions felt in the power of prayer, and the sense of community, watching the priest reading the gospel to someone who couldn't read, and members offering comfort.
I was born in Montreal, Canada. When I was 14, my grandmothers bought me my first camera, and it has been my passion ever since. I started out experimenting with shutter speeds, aperture... and in the beginning nobody understood the purpose behind my photographs. I even remember my mom chastising me not to waste so much film. (I think I am dating myself! Lol) These days, my mindset has evolved, and I seem to be continuously seeking new projects to photograph - projects with purpose that have something to say about the life we live. I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs.
