Stroget is said to be the longest pedestrian and shopping zone in Europe. It sure is a very busy area, with a mix of coffee places, bakeries, designer boutiques, and restaurants. The heart of Stroget is Amagertorv, or the Amager Square, a great place for people watching, shopping, strolling and everything in between. To me it is a fascinating place where history meets modern: born when the Danish capital was just a fishing village, the square saw many transformations during its life.
