Almost all of the scenery in Tokyo is familiar to me, because I have lived here for over thirty years. The city hasn't been designed beautifully for appearance. However, sometimes due to this I can see things that I haven't expected. Each structure has been constructed by someone with satisfaction, but there exists an unbalanced, discontent feeling to the whole city. I've found myself feeling something fascination like a vertigo, when I photograph its peculiar aspects. "Come, woo me, woo me; for now I am in a holiday humour, and like enough to consent." - William Shakespeare, As You Like It
