I never really liked architecture photography that much. But when I walked through Vila Tugendhat, I was totally enraptured by the story of people who build this place as their dream home and imagined how they lived here. Vila Tugendhat was built in 1930 as one of the pioneering prototypes of modern architecture in Europe. In the living space it has a captivating onyx (rock) wall that is partially translucent and lits up in the evening sun. Even the architect found this out just after it has been put in the place.
