Entry Description

The architecture of Detroit is an eclectic mix, formed by a variety of materials and textures reflecting individuality. This mirrors the unique qualities of individuality--change, variety, and psychological evolution. I see similarities between human development and the evolution of personal residences in Detroit. I photograph houses as stand-in portraits of particular stages of human development.

About Photographer

I fell in love with the medium about 5 years ago and absolutely love everything about photography and love to learn new tools every day. I graduated in 2013 from Oakland University with a BA in Studio Art.
