Entry Description

Dream-like clouds form over the Manhattan skyline on an evening in early fall. From a rooftop overlooking Manhattan's largest public housing project juxtaposed against the iconic towers of Midtown--the greatest concentration of wealth on the planet--the low light of the evening creates a maze of contrast leading the viewer on a rags-to-riches journey through perhaps the world's most iconic city. This never-before-photographed perspective tells the story of two very different worlds right on top of one another. It captures the grit and the glamour. This is the real New York.
