Entry Description

Mustang it’s one of last Tibetan enclaves. Being unreachable since middle age, it has managed to preserve its original landscape untouched. The influence of the outside world is today growing and contributing to an uncontrolled change. Chinese have started to build a new commercial road through the valley, which will be finished in a few years and might represent a serious threath to the surviving of local landscape and environment.

About Photographer

Filippo Mutani started professional photography in 2006, after more than ten years working as a strategic planner in advertising. In 2007 he shot the institutional social Pirelli Re advertising campaign and joined Grazia Neri agency. In 2009 he became a contributor of Getty Images. His reportages, backstages and portaits are published on a regular basis by international magazines (Newsweek, The Guardian, Vanity Fair, Grazia, Grazia UK, A, Io Donna..). In 2009 he’s been shooting corporate for Campari (calendar 2010), I-Spirit vodka and backstage for Chanel. He teaches communication at IED Institute and at La Scuola di Formazione del Sole 24 Ore.
