Captured over a period of four months in the late summer and early fall of 2013, the Coastal Florida Series covers the vast circumference of the state I call home. I had been looking forward to shooting this series for many years. Florida in the summer has some of the most perfect cloud formations of anywhere I have traveled. Those “white puffies” moving combined with the backdrop of the azure skies, made for some very dramatic shots. I consider these 5 waterscape images the essential intersection of ocean and earth in Coastal Florida.
