I confess to having an overactive imagination, which seems to assist in titling my photographs. But when two waves collided and became one, something special was created. The instant I reviewed this image, the tail of a while appeared and I was left thinking of non other than the great whale, Moby Dick.
I am an ocean photographer based on the South Coast, NSW Australia and I spend most of my time shooting waves, from either above or below the surface. I have been fortunate to have won a few international awards for my images, and have recently opened a gallery in my home town of Wollongong. I am obsessed with all facets of the ocean, in particular how water behaves when energy, motion and light are combined.
