This new documentary series explores East London’s pubs through the family portrait. Think of pubs and you think of Britain, with London home to some of the best drinking dens in the world - particularly the gems found in the East End. Some are historic, some are Irish and some put on popular quiz nights. Others have a French twist and some cater for gay audiences or serve locally made booze and artisan coffee. There are lots of them, and they are all unique.
