The project revolves around witches. Witches that are represented by contrasting the contemporary vision of women, how they are perceived and how certain precepts and teachings are still embed in our core. Women who didn't fulfill a specific role in society were cataloged and categorised as witches and often burnt at the stake. Women were assigned the role to procreat only and the ones that couldn't were demonised. We want to capture how society sees women today and try to portrait them from the point of view of alterity, as well as show how they have always been relegated under the misogynistic and sexist regime.
