A series of intimate portraits from behind the scenes of Hollywood. Film Industry people, some of whom, have had to make dramatic adjustments over the last decade as the world has transitioned from film to digital media, while others have relished in their craft as their side of the industry might not have been as tumultuous. Either way, after traveling to all four corners of the US and into Canada, I am left with little doubt that in an ever expanding consumption based social media driven entertainment landscape, technicians with perseverance and experience are an ever growing precious commodity. On all levels of the entertainment industry competition has never been tougher or more exciting.
Tom is a current Artist in Residence for the National Park Service at Mojave National Preserve, an award-winning photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. Tom has spent 25 years in the commercial production business, crafting advertisements for leading brands. He has been featured in F-Stop Magazine and is a finalist in the Shoot the Land group exhibition. His portrait work was recently awarded a Silver Medal at the San Francisco International Photography Exhibition. Tom has traveled across six continents and been in 16 countries in his capacity as a commercial producer, taking advantage of his photographic opportunities as an artist wherever and whenever he can. He loves an adventure as long as he can take his camera.
