Whilst on safari in the Ruaha National Park in Tanzania, we drove round a corner in the track to find our way blocked by three giraffes. Their necks were beautifully alinged for a moment, as if they were posing deliberately for the image. It was like a gift to a photographer on Christmas Day!
Jasper Dalgliesh has been taking photographs for over 30 years and covers a wide range of subjects. Jasper spent 11 years in the British Army with the Household Cavalry Regiment and as a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps. Flying allowed him to shoot from some stunning advantage points as well as worldwide travel. After the Army, he did an MBA at Cranfield University and 12 years in the Telecommunications industry. In 2009, he turned to his passion of photography and became professional. He has over the past few years been traveling extensively. His images have been published and used by a number of organisations on their websites, as well as for private clients. Commissions are undertaken on application.
