In fall 2024, comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas was in the sky of the Northern Hemisphere. I quickly knew I wanted to capture it meeting with the summit of the Matterhorn. After precise mathematical calculations(recalculated daily due to meteorological hazard), I knew where I would have to be excatly for this precise encounter. I drove 4h, took two trains and hiked to the location under clouds in the hope that the sky will clear in time as planned that day. It did! At exactly 8.27pm the comet reached the summit of the mystic mountain. I was in awe and the world was suspended in an endless second.
