Over the course of 17 years, photographer Sandro Miller and actor John Malkovich combined their larger-than-life personas to produce a series of portraits and films, some of which reconstruct the most iconic images of photography’s history while others capture the genius and range of Malkovich’s acting ability. These remarkable and totally original 134 artworks are published here together for the first time, providing a monumental collaboration, a delight of viewing, and an important investigation into the meaning of identity.
