The postcard has long been supplanted by web tools. But its original motivations also live in its actual popular form, self-produced and electronics. Its meaning consists, now as then, in showing the beauty of a place, communicating our own presence there. Instagram, the selfie renew the original postcard sense, deconstructing the original language and the oleography of institutional postcard. At the same time this new creativity succumbs to the exasperated need to re-confirm our presence leaving in the background the beauty of places, the emotions, people in the context of the trip. With this series I try it to imagine and resurrect the original principle of the postcard purifying the images from the celebrative oleography and from the vices of its ego-modern form. Iran has helped me because it is one of the places where the architectural beauties have been perceived by local people outside of uncontrolled
