Taiwan's scenery and nature is captivating in its rich colours and the fascinating, animalistic behavior of beautiful creatures. Inspired by these vivid splashes of colour, I captured photos of bright koi fish swimming about an otherwise deeply shadowed pond. The photos express how the school of fish is wrought with discord and a disharmony bordering on rivalry. The inky black water encloses the fish in a cage of agitated unrest, tolerated only for the necessity of co-existence in order to survive.
