The life in Inle Lake is a life in balance. Along the lake, which measures 22 km long by 10 km wide, are built wooden stilt houses and floating gardens. Mostly, the life there is based on the water. Intha people move across the lake by boat. The fishermen have a unique rowing style. From the distance they seem like elegant flamingo with one leg wrapped around their boat. They are acrobats in perfect balance, they have to make coordinated movements/gestures in order to live.
