Jamie Mitchell of Australia is considered by many to be the top "Waterman" of all time. Dedicating his life to the ocean, Mitchell paddles over 30 miles a day, surfs 30ft+ waves, and freedives on a regular basis. Mitchell has won the Molkai to Oahu crossing (32 miles) a record 8 years with a average margin of victory of 20 minutes. He has been embraced by many of the Hawaiian Water Legends, including Terry Ahui and Brian Keaulana, as one of their own.
