Nepal had a massive earthquake in 2015. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, was one of the hardest hit areas of the earthquake, with the shock waves bringing homes and ancient temples crashing to the ground. Now it has been two years since the disaster, but the recovery is far from being completed. Despite hardships, life goes on. Rich religious rituals are still performed at the base of ruined temples, children are still playing on the streets after school, and happy wedding dancing can often been seen in the city. It is apparent that through monumental construction efforts being made, the faith and confidence of life have been re-gained in this ancient city.
