Restrained is a conceptual collection inspired by Hong Kong?s buildings and politics. Bondage elements have been used throughout the collection to show the restrained struggle of its residents. Black and grey represent the urban concrete jungle and the hopeless, oppressive feelings of despair. Red signifies the fight and anger over the many political injustices that culminated, resulting in the Umbrella Revolution. Garments are made of denim, wool and leather in a minimalist palette.
