As a documentary photographer I?m interested in the social impact of environmental change and so I visited several villages at the base of the Indian Himalayas. Over five days we visited several villages all of which could only be reached on foot. The idea was to meet up with and interview local small holders and talk to them about how the weather patterns have changed over the last decade. As part of this I took a series of portraits of the villagers some of which are presented here.
