Eid al-Adha or The Feast of the Sacrifice, is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah’s command. But, before Ibrahim could sacrifice his son, God provided a lamb to sacrifice instead. Kuala Lumpur, home to thousands of Muslim migrants mainly from Bangladesh, celebrate this day by mass prayers, and followed by the sacrifice of the cow. This were performed in the open streets within the community area that they live.
