In the highland known as the most elaborate funeral ceremony in the world where death is not an end and unites the living ones for indigenous people in Toraja, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. People in Toraja are still practising the ancient animism beliefs as the part of their local customs. When relatives died, the corpse is kept in a room and living together with the family and treated as a sick person for years. After the deceased buried, once every two or three years the family will gather at the tombs dead relatives will be taken out of the caskets to be cleaned and given fresh clothes.
