The first year of the Covid-19 has changed many things in the world. Even Chinese tradition of “family reunion during Chinese New Year". Hundreds of millions of Chinese people were forced to stay where they were by the travel restrictions. “Since we can’t go home, we will bring home here!” I built a symbolic home of Chinese people’s, invited the people to come to take a family portrait. Whilst being overseas, they can still have a journey home. There are homesickness, regrets, helplessness, but there will be warmth. All these will eventually become how we remember the Year of the Ox.
