In Colorado, there is a culture of adventure. Finding the most extreme and technical experiences the mountains offer and placing oneself in the most precarious positions. From river rafting to mountain biking to climbing ice walls with only a few millimeters of metal holding you to the wall. To photograph such situations is an experience of its own. My hands were so cold that they stuck to the metal pieces on my camera. The camera batteries lasted half the time they usually do and the options for angels were unguarded edges or hanging in free space between the frozen canyon walls.
