Captured from a hot air balloon as we floated across the Sossusvlei Desert of Namibia at dawn. The pinkish reddish hues are unique to the Namib Desert and are a result of the sand's high iron oxide content. The ever-shifting shapes and colors of this 55-million-year-old sandscape are any photographer's dream.Being in a tiny basket in the sky was daunting at first, but I will never forget the feeling of silence and space.
