These images are part of an ongoing series about nomadic life in the American West. In 2020 I moved to the desert two hours east of Los Angeles. Whenever I have time, I go camping and exploring. This is how I started to meet people who spend their life on the road, usually driving down to the desert to escape the harsh winters in the northern U.S. With this series I would love to explore the concepts of home and roots through the experience of people that move constantly and the concept of travel as a sustainable choice for a permanent way of living.
