The Tadami Line is one of the most unexplored routes in Japan.Because of the heavy snowfall, the area becomes a completely white world in winter.People's lives are supported by trains that make only a few round trips a day.

Biography

Takeshi Kameyama, born in Niigata, Japan in 1974, has been wielding a camera since 2008. My portfolio showcases a versatile, genre-defying style that encompasses landscapes, portraits, and candid shots. In 2022, I made history as the first Japanese photographer to clinch the Nature Photographer of the Year accolade in the landscape category at the International Photography Awards. This award-winning work has been showcased in exhibitions across numerous countries, garnering high international acclaim.
