"House of Mirrors" seeks to investigate the Israeli human experience. The photographer is using the language of street photography to take the viewer along Israeli scenes in a different light. She places the model as the observer in public places. The mindful observation reflects the Israeli society as it is perceived from external and internal points of view simultaneously. Through a lens of playful self-parody, Sharon is showing us different facets of this society, aiming a spotlight on its charming characteristics – the warmth, openness, eccentricity, and the tribal spirit it encompasses.
