Michèle Agniel, 93, welcomes our film crew into her cozy Parisian apartment with an infectious smile. Her family joined the French Resistance when she was 14 and helped save over 20 downed Allied pilots during the war. Her family was betrayed and she was sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp at age 17. She was the only survivor. Michèle shares her story and shows us a large 3-ring binder full of letters, news articles and photos the families of the rescued men sent her. This binder, and the stories inside, are her "why." The cost of resistance. Her smile says she is at peace with her choices.
