Based on my ongoing series of Tableaux Vivants created over the last 16 years, Apple approached me to develop an all new narrative that could be photographed in a single frame and using their latest iPhone. Since the output was designed for social media feeds, a vertical format was preferred to the horizontals I had used to compose my previous work. This led to building a 27-foot structure from scratch and printing a large enough backdrop to cover the space without any compositing; as it was required to shoot everything in-camera in order to stay true to the "Shot on iPhone" campaign.
