Our first international trip post-covid lockdowns meant my brother-in-law would see his family for the first time since before the pandemic. He lives with us in Australia and we traveled to Ibriktepe (a small village in Turkey) for his and my sister's wedding. With family members in Berlin, different parts of Turkey, and Australia, this was the first family reunion in years. The emotion and love was felt by everyone throughout the two week trip, which I imagine was going on all over the world at that period of time.
